In May we will celebrate our favorite furry friends! Kids will be able to sculpt pets out of clay, pay tribute to their favorite animal, and create homes, caves, and nests for them using different hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.

Clay Club is for kids in grade school and middle school who want to explore fundamental ceramics skills, and advance their existing knowledge.  The program is ongoing, and features different themes and goals each month. Maria Michaelson and Glenn Hendrick are the instructors for this course, and together they have over 10 years of teaching experience. They are so excited to offer this fun and creative learning experience to island kids!

Included in the price of Clay Club are up to two parent/child open studios per month, Saturdays from 1pm-4pm.

Does your child attend elementary or middle school?
Ask about our partnership with the San Juan Island School
District’s bus system to get your child to Alchemy!
