Visiting Alchemy

Alchemy Art Center is currently closed to the public due to Covid-19.  We are working on reopening for Studio Membership in mid-July, as well as offering some outdoor activities/events this summer.

Alchemy is located on beautiful San Juan Island at 1255 Wold Rd, just around the corner from the Lavender Farm.

Getting here:

• Alchemy Art Center is located at 1255 Wold Rd.  If you are coming from San Juan Valley Rd, we are past Kiehl and before the Lavender Farm, on the left. You will see a sign that says Alchemy.
• Parking is limited, and is mostly available in the lot right after you turn in on the driveway.  Please park diagonally.  There are also a few parking spaces up the driveway at the top of the hill (just a little further up the driveway), closer to the buildings, if you require closer access.  If you are attending an event and require more accessible parking, please let us know in advance so we can reserve a space for you.
• The studio is located in the large building on the left as you come up the driveway. You can enter through the door on the right side of the building, or walk around to the main entrance.  The studio building is only accessible via stairs.
• The Dome building, where most of our performances and art shows take place, is located to the right of the driveway and is accessible via a 100 ft gravel footpath.  There is a ramp leading in to the building.
• Bathrooms are located in the building to the right of the Dome, accessible via a short set of stairs.
