Visiting Alchemy
Tours: Tours are available by appointment only! Please email us to schedule a tour. We cannot guarantee last minute tours.
Accessibility: Alchemy is located 5 miles out of town, on 8 acres of woodland. The road and walking paths are gravel, with stairs leading into the art studio building.
Accessibility Parking: We are able to reserve accessibility parking upon request, please email us to reserve it.
Ramp Access: The only building with ramp access is our dome space, in which we host music events, art shows, and some classes. If you need ramp access to take a class, please let us know and we may be able to host the class in the dome.
Sign Language: Do you need sign language interpretation to take a class? Please let us know, and we will try to make that happen.
Spanish Language: Please let us know if you need Spanish language interpretation in order to take a class!

Getting here:
If you are coming from San Juan Valley Rd, we are past Kiehl and before the Lavender Farm, on the left. You will see a sign that says Alchemy.
Parking is limited, and is mostly available in the lot right after you turn in on the driveway. Please park diagonally. There are also a few parking spaces up the driveway at the top of the hill (just a little further up the driveway), closer to the buildings. If you are attending an event and require more accessible parking, please let us know in advance so we can reserve a space for you.
The studio is located in the large building on the left as you come up the driveway. You can enter through the door on the right side of the building, or walk around to the main entrance. The studio building is only accessible via stairs.
The Dome building, where most of our performances and art shows take place, is located to the right of the driveway and is accessible via a 100 ft gravel footpath. There is a ramp leading in to the building.
A public bathroom is located in the main studio building.
Not driving? Please make sure to research transportation options in advance! Alchemy is located 5 miles out of town, and because we are a rural island, we do not have driving services like Uber. Options include reserving a taxi, renting a moped, or hopping a ride on San Juan Transit, which makes scheduled stops at the Lavender Farm (a 1/4 mile walk from Alchemy). If you need further assistance, please email us well in advance so that we can help you plan.
